I’m thrilled to share some important updates regarding the X.PagedList library and its related packages. To better organize and support the libraries, I plan to move them to new namespaces and update their names. This will help manage the libraries more effectively and ensure they continue to receive the necessary support and updates. Also, the package names in NuGet will be updated to reflect these changes.
For those who might be new, the X.PagedList libraries are popular tools designed to simplify pagination implementation in .NET applications. They provide a straightforward way to manage and display paginated data, making it easier for developers to create efficient and user-friendly applications.
Here are the new package names that will be used in the next release:
- X.Extensions.PagedList (formerly X.PagedList)
- X.Extensions.PagedList.EF (formerly X.PagedList.EF)
- X.Web.PagedList (formerly X.PagedList.Mvc.Core)
These changes, while significant, are designed to ensure that libraries are well-organized and continue to receive the necessary support and updates. This reorganization is aimed at enhancing your development experience and the performance of your applications.
